Dr Jacky Jones worked for the Irish Health Services Executive (HSE) for >35 years, retiring from a senior management post in December 2010. She has worked in all areas of health promotion and has a special interest in intersectoral partnerships. She developed new scales to measure synergy and trust in partnerships for her PhD which she completed in 2008. Peer-reviewed papers on these new scales will be published shortly in Global Health Promotion and Health Promotion International.
