Brian Wansink

John S. Dyson Professor of Marketing, Director of the Cornell Food and Brand Lab and Co-Director of the Cornell Center for Behavioral Economics and Child Nutrition Programs at Cornell University.

His research focuses on how micro-environments influence what and how much people eat. He is the author of the best-selling book Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think (2006). Between 2007 and 2009 he took a leave from Cornell to become the Executive Director of the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion in Washington DC. He is the President Elect of the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior.
