Carlos Oliveira Santos

58 years, Ph.D in Political Science-Public Policy (New University of Lisbon, Portugal) and Course of Social Marketing in Public Health (University of South Florida, USA), is a Portuguese social marketing specialist and an invited university professor since 1992. He has introduced social marketing teaching at the graduated level in 1995 and was co-director of de first post-graduated course on political and social marketing in 2002. He was the editor of a Portuguese Social Marketing Guide, published in 2004, and the creator of the website Marketing Social Portugal. Since 2007, his research focuses on the study of the British social marketing national strategy as a way to improve behaviour change policies in other countries.
