Paulo Moreira holds a PhD since 1998 from the University of Manchester, UK.

His executive experience includes the practical application of social marketing tools in healthcare at different levels including hospitals, governmental and European Union level.

Former Deputy Head of Unit at ECDC (Stockholm), where he developed the Knowledge and Resource Centre on health communication, he has wide international experience on managing and supporting health programs and related social marketing interventions to promote organizational and behavioral change for the development of health policies, systems and organizations.

He is author of the book “Public Health Policy in Action: a framework for a new Rhetoric of Persuasion”, available at Amazon.
